| Congratulations to Celia and Lark McCants on their recent marriage. They celebrated their wedding out of the country, but had another celebration when they returned from their honeymoon. For this celebration, I made a 12" round cake on top of a 16" x 12" oval cake. I covered the cakes with rolled fondant and hand painted the outside in gold. It was a yellow cake with a tart glaze over it. |
Up top was a challenging cake to make. The request was to make a birthday cake that would have a
train on top of it. So, I created a train engine that looked like Thomas the train.
Middle row; a request for a black Cinderella birthday cake, another request was for a castle cake with
chocolate and yellow cake, and lastly was the request for a superman cake.
Bottom row; was a special cake made to look like a BMW. The last cake was a birthday cake that had
the complete locomotive running through the cake from top to bottom.
